A Citizen’s Guide to Better Streets

To get a better understanding of the mechanism for obtaining public input at a number of stages in the overall transportation planning process, we highly encourage you to read an excellent document called “A Citizen’s Guide to Better Streets”, produced by the Project for Public Spaces, in collaboration with the AARP. This document helps to prepare the general public for interactions with both transportation planners and the implementing agencies.
